Hot-air riveting
Heat once = durable bond? Promised!
How can plastic components be joined particularly securely? In many sectors, the answer is thermal riveting. Special nozzles direct temperature-controlled hot air precisely onto the plastic parts to be processed – independent of part geometry and surface. Only the rivet heads are heated in this way. The rivets themselves and the surrounding surface remain untouched. Parts riveted in this way are extremely durable, even with differing materials.
